What is Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian?
Marvel Zombies is Marvel Animation’s horror series set in an alternate reality where heroes become flesh-eating zombies. It began as an episode of What If…? and grew into its own four-episode series, which premiered on Disney+ on September 24, 2025.
Marvel kept the identity of the Last Guardian under wraps when it announced the special, saying only that it is very exciting.
